The story follows a tense investigation into the mysterious death of a college student named Puifai, who dies after a night of partying. The case brings together two clashing law enforcement officers:
Inspector Kamin: A newly transferred, foreign-educated inspector.
Captain Jade: A bold and somewhat arrogant captain who has been on the force.
