Chorded Hearts

Jang Minhee thought she had her Third year of medical school figured out: attend lectures, survive exams, drink alarming amounts of coffee, and get at least a few hours of sleep whenever possible.

Moving into an off-campus apartment with her best friend Bada was supposed to make things easier. More space, fewer dorm rules, and a kitchen that technically worked.

The only problem was the neighbors.

The apartment next door seemed to belong to a group of university students who spent a lot of their free time playing music. Sometimes it was just a guitar, sometimes drums, and sometimes what sounded like a full band practice happening through the very thin walls.

Minhee tried to ignore it and focus on studying.

Unfortunately, it's hard to memorize anatomy terms when someone next door is very enthusiastically playing the same song for the fifth time.
