I cannot remember how it started, but it started with laughter, then it quickly turned to fear. How quickly the grass turned red and the streets turned empty.
[The Great Epidemic], a disease breakout that caused the lives of many to fall, some to falter, and some to lose hope.
Once a land filled with laughter, happiness and joy, now a land filled with blood, corpses and the will to survive.
Our duty is to protect the breathing and to kill those who don't.
But....
That's when I found out that our only hope isn't human.

wistoragic (adj.) characterized by lingering sadness and nostalgia following the recent end of a great story or series ☆☆☆ The world wasn't supposed to end this way. The news had started to take a dark turn a week ago. It began with reports of a mysterious virus sweeping through cities-a fast-moving illness that caused fever, disorientation, and, in some cases, violent outbursts. You thought about the first day you realized something was wrong-really wrong. A video on social media had gone viral: a man in a hospital gown staggering through a busy street, his head lolling unnaturally to one side. He'd grabbed a woman at random and sunk his teeth into her shoulder, blood spraying across the pavement as people screamed and ran. The video had been dismissed as a hoax at first, some 3D rendering. Maybe they were filming a movie and didn't notify the mayor or governor. Even you had doubted it. But now, the memory of that video made your hands shake. ☆☆☆ bakugou x reader zombie apocalypse au • quirkless au ☆☆☆ please keep in mind that this was a voted on story. if things go back and forth, it's because people voted for that!Complete
The Backpacker's Dream
'No, he didn't'. I was so shocked by the turn of events. Everything was going fine and then suddenly boom, everything turned upside down. I just couldn't believe this. What did he think of himself? 'Leave me alone.' I said firmly but his hold on me was so strong. I was struggling to get out of his bear hold but to no avail. 'Oh!! So, the poor lady thinks that I will leave her alone and just let her go free?' He had that evil laugh and boy, his breath stank. 'Man, you just signed your death warrant and I will do one favour on you.' No one messes with me. 'Ooooh, I am so scared that I almost peed my pants.' Again that idiotic laugh. I counted till 5 and then kicked right in his balls. I turned around and grabbed his hair from roots, jerked them so badly and then gave my hard elbow shot on his chin. Everything happened so fast for one moment he was standing and the other lying on floor wiggling. I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming. I turned around and saw him standing wide-eyed, 'Hi, I am Scarlett.' I smiled showing my 32 teeth. 'I am scared.' His look puzzled me. The Railroad
After an epidemic that gave half the population an incurable disease, only a few major cities remained. One of these included the wealthy city of Tallahassee, Florida, where they had the brightest minds looking for a cure. George Davidson was among those minds: his father was one of the richest people in the world prior to the outbreak and had sent George to one of the most prestigious medical schools in the country. Afterwards, after an incident that caused much grief in the Davidson family, George's father had set George on finding a cure. Finally, after four years of sleepless nights and painful losses, George had done it. He'd found the cure. But if that was the case, then why did he hire a coyote to smuggle him out of the city? Why did he run away with the only known cure for zombie-ism? TW: there's not much in this story other than some depictions of blood, violence, death, and just overall gross/gory stuff 12/1/21- this is a cool date for a cool landmark! 800 readssss 😩Complete
ALPHA WAVE
When my parents kicked the bucket, I thought that was the universe's way of saying "screw you" to me. But little did I know, life had an even bigger "screw you" in store. Then one sunny summer day out of nowhere, the Infected appeared. And man, were they ugly. Feral, bloodthirsty, savage beasts that looked like they'd been hit with the ugly stick- no scratch that- the ugly tree one too many times. But fear not, for Phoenix Corp arrived on the scene, wielding their science skills like superheroes. They cooked up a cure that saved the day, rescued us from the Infected menace. Or so we thought.... Suddenly, everything I knew was turned on its head when Phoenix agents showed up at my door at midnight and demanded access. I never thought I'd find myself allied with the Infected, the very creatures I saw as my mortal enemy. It's like friends became foes and foes became friends, and I'm left questioning everything I ever believed. But hey, at least I've got a front-row seat to the apocalypse. It's a wild ride, and I'm strapped in for the long haul. Who knows what craziness is yet to come? Oh, did I mention the infected had mouthwatering abs? Done with scrubbing questionable substances off hospital walls. Her quirk-Chiropractor, the ability to relieve pain and tension with a touch-might make her a miracle worker, but it can't save her from burnout. She's exhausted, sarcastic, and one cracked vertebra away from quitting healthcare entirely. Then life throws her the world's most explosive curveball: She moves into the house right next door to Bakugo Katsuki-now the No. 5 Pro Hero, fully grown, annoyingly gorgeous, and carrying a secret guilt he's tried to bury for years. They haven't seen each other since their early twenties. Since that night. Their reckless, drunken, unforgettable one-night stand. To her? It was hot, wild, and not worth a shred of regret. To him? It was a mistake-not because of her, but because he thinks he didn't treat her right. Didn't ask her out. Didn't make it special. Didn't deserve it. And now that she's back in his life, his guilt turns into something unexpected: Homemade bentos. Left on her doorstep. Every morning. Like an apology he can't stop giving. But as her terrible shifts pile up, her quirk starts easing his old injuries, and their tense doorstep conversations turn into something dangerously warm, one thing becomes clear: This isn't about regret anymore. It's about healing-his body, her burnout, their past. And maybe, if the universe doesn't interfere first... something worth fighting for.Complete
