Anchor (2D x Reader)

After the unfortunate event of gutiarist and your best friend Noodle being presumably dead, the band you're in, 'Gorillaz' breaks up. Just as things couldn't be any worse, your lover 2D calls off the relationship between you two.

You decide to try to build your life again. You buy your own apartment and go back to school and before you know it, you're at the brink of graduation ready to leave to the US right after as you have been granted a job opportunity.

However, three days before your graduation you are gassed and kidnapped, you awake on an island, a beach. And not just any beach- Plastic Beach. As Murdoc, the man and somewhat father figure who recruited you for the band before the release of the first album, familiarizes you with his plan and with what's on the beach, you soon find out you're not the only one being kept here as 2D-the same man who broke your heart and whom you havent seen in years, is kept here as well for the same reasons.

With this unexpected reunion, the two of you find each other again-something that the both of you had thought was long gone.
