Music has always been the only thing Ryujin could control.
After a childhood shaped by loss and silence, she builds her world around bass strings, rehearsals, and impossible standards. In her mind, perfection isn't ambition-it's survival. And when she finally forms a band in college, she refuses to let anything threaten it. Not mistakes. Not emotions. Not people.
Then Yeji auditions.
Soft-spoken, painfully insecure, and gifted with a voice that lingers long after the last note fades, Yeji becomes everything Ryujin didn't plan for. Chosen instantly, she is pulled into a band where passion borders on obsession, and where admiration can feel dangerously close to fear.
As rehearsals turn into arguments, and small gigs begin to carry the weight of everything they could lose, both girls are forced to confront the same question from opposite sides of the stage:
