The year is 4E 201 - news of the dragon attack in Helgen has spread across Skyrim. Immediately after the attack, one farm boy in the outskirts of Whiterun coincidentally dashes outside his home to run a few errands, but witnesses a large, spiky dragon race past a mountain, disappearing in the horizon a few moments later. Although he is just a peasant Nord teenager, Aylor is a book-hungry, deeply curious, and imaginative young man who yearns to do more with his life than just being a farm boy. Could the news of dragons returning be the start of a lifechanging experience for Aylor? One thing is for sure; he may have to pursue his thirst for knowledge and magic independently as distrust in magic runs rampant across Skyrim, his family fitting firmly in that regard. Perhaps it was destined for Aylor to leave his farm life behind, master the arcane arts, and become one of Skyrim's brightest scholars. Read more to learn about Aylor's journey!
Tanoril is a young and bitter Altmer who was exiled from Alinor, also known as Summerset Isles, for speaking up against the Aldmeri Dominion. Once a student practicing the arcane arts in the capital, he must now seek a new place to continue his studies, even if the harshest consequences of exile has damaged his hopes and dreams. Turns out, being stripped of all wealth and family ties being broken makes life feel worthless and miserable. His first choice could not have been anything near Skyrim, especially with the Civil War going on. However, Tanoril could not have been luckier. One morning as Tanoril woke up in Anvil after his arrival, a courier gave him a piece of parchment filled with daily news. At the corner of his eye, he saw that the College of Winterhold was actively recruiting and looking for promising apprentices. Tanoril thought very hard about this decision. Should he attend the College of Winterhold or try and gain entry into the College of Whispers, or perhaps, the Synod? Read more to find out his final decision!
