Bound By Darkness

I felt him watching me long before I ever saw his face.

A presence outside my bedroom window.

When I finally confront him, I learn the truth: he's a vampire-ancient, dangerous, and irrevocably drawn to me. He says my blood calls to him, but it's me he can't stay away from. He's memorized my routine, guarded me from threats I never noticed, and stayed hidden because he knows what he is... and what he might do if he gets too close.
