Nell Ward is happy with her office job in New York City. Until she is sent, unwillingly, to the small parish of Chimney Rock. There she is tasked with investigating possible fraud while digitalising the records of a local church.
Only things get complicated when she meets the much younger, and hotter, than expected Assistant Priest. Father Jud.
It all gets a whole lot worse when the corrupt Head Priest is murdered and a Southern Detective shows up.
