Eywa's Gift

When Neytiri loses her older sister, Eywa answers her grief in an unexpected way.

A child is found deep within the forest - untouched, white-haired, glowing softly beneath the trees. The Tsahìk names it a sign. The Omatikaya elders declare the girl bonded by Eywa to Neytiri herself - not by blood, but by soul.

Raised as sisters, Neytiri and Aylira grow inseparable. When the time comes, the clan arranges their future according to tradition: two women, bound by Eywa, joined to one male - Tsu'tey, the next great warrior of the people.

Then a Sky Person arrives.

As Jake Sully is brought into their lives and taught the ways of the Na'vi, the bonds Eywa once set begin to shift. Love grows where it was never meant to - first in Neytiri's heart... and later, against her will, in Aylira's and Tsu'tey.
