Freya Odinsdottir was born to be a queen, but golden halls make a perfect gilded cage.
As the Goddess of Life and younger sister to Thor and Loki, Freya spent her existence locked in the Asgardian palace. Trained relentlessly to rule, the crushing pressure of her parents' expectations finally causes her to break. Desperate to find herself, she asks for the unthinkable: permission to go to Earth.
To her shock, her father agrees. Freya packs her things and flees to Midgard before he can change his mind.
Joining S.H.I.E.L.D., she finally learns how to breathe, laugh, and actually enjoy herself. But true freedom must be fought for. Navigating her volatile powers is hard enough, but doing it while dealing with idiot brothers, invading aliens, and rogue robots is a different story.
