"Let me guess, was it a girl?" the interviewer asked.
"It's always a girl, right?" Post smiled, trying to suppress the bitterness and the old desire still burning for her. Damn her.
"And what happened with this girl?"
"It just doesn't matter anymore, she's just someone who left my life and I don't want it back." Post replied.
At the end of the interview, the assistant brought him a glass of water. Post raised it to his lips -then stopped short as he caught sight of the red lipstick imprint on the rim, feeling his blood burn. He could almost taste the cherry flavor his mouth remembered, and now he felt tempted to taste whether her lips were still as sweet.
His eyes drifted toward her, and Dilara's smile was provocative in response to his last answer in the interview.
