Thirteen was practically raised in Hawkins Lab. For most of her life, she has never known anything outside its sterile, unwelcoming walls. She's a shy girl, afraid of her powers and what she could do with them. As Dr. Brenner's favorite daughter, she's had it arguably easier than most of her siblings, but that does not mean that growing up in the lab has been easy for her.

Peter Ballard has always been her favorite Orderly. He's never mean, never shouts, and always has a reassuring smile on his face. He's one of her only comfort sources, even though she's barely spoken five sentences to him in the last eighteen years.
She has no idea yet, how important he will be in her life.
