A rigid preservationist theocracy governs through ritual, law, and quiet biological control-its structures so entrenched that most people treat escape as a myth.

When a small procedural error exposes something the system was never meant to reveal, strangers on opposite sides of the order are pulled into the same orbit: an enforcer trained to protect uphold order, someone whose value is defined by the body they inhabit, and someone who has learned to survive by disappearing. As their paths tighten, they uncover what the faith is really preserving-and what it has been quietly burying.

The Age of Preservation is a slow-burn dystopian epic about confinement, belief, and procedural control, where intimacy is regulated, survival is politicized, and truth is treated as a punishable act. It includes occasional explicit material, but sexuality here is treated as a mechanism of power, control, and survival rather than the story's central focus.
