This is a What If scenario; The Skaven known as a whole are a cruel, treacherous, and highly numerous species that have since spread their loathsome corruption to the farthest corners of the Known World.
There is no room for pity, remorse, compassion, or cooperation. Any Skaven found with these queitites are killed, for the Horned Rat and the entire Under-Empire will not tolerate such 'weakness' in the world of survival.
And yet there's a few who against all odds, escapes and fled into the wilderness and disappeared for a decades, while entirety of the Known World moves on.
But this hidden sanctuary will not last forever, soon someone will find them, and the "heretic" Skavens will have to fight for survival. For the right to exist in the world who only known an cruel, and treacherous Skavens.
