My Bully! (A Kim Taehyung Lovestory)

Growing up with him was the worst phase of my life.

He wasn't just a bully. He was my shadow. My tormentor. The devil who never let me breathe without permission. In Korea, I never had friends because he was always there. Kim Taehyung. Even in daylight, he was my nightmare.

He strung me along like I was something he owned, made me do his work, pulled me into his orbit without ever letting me belong. He made me feel small in a place that already told me I didn't fit. Like I wasn't meant to exist there on my own. Like my place was always somewhere behind him, or beneath him, or nowhere at all.

And the cruelest part? He made it feel personal.

He protected me from the world just enough to remind me I was trapped with him. He stood between me and everyone else, not to save me, but to claim me. To make sure I knew that if I survived that place, it was only because he allowed it.

I learned early that silence was safer than resistance. That peace came with conditions. That being seen by him meant being erased by everyone else.

So when I met him again after more than a decade, I thought time would have softened the damage. It didn't.

He was exactly the man I always knew he'd become. Calculated, charming, dangerously self-aware. And yet, all I could see when I looked at him was the boy who taught me fear before he taught me kindness. The boy who confused protection with possession. The boy who made me mistake survival for affection.

The world may have changed him. But to me, he will always be my bully. And I hate him, not because he hurt me... but because some part of me still remembers how it felt when he made me feel like I was his.
