After a brutal car accident in her teens, Hae-in loses her eyesight, not from physical damage, but from trauma so severe her mind shuts the world out to survive. Years later, she lives a quiet and carefully ordered life with her husband Kang Joon-seok, a respected psychiatrist whose devotion feels like safety itself. Their marriage is gentle and perfect, as others would say. But when Hae-in secretly begins therapy to regain her sight, something changes. As her senses sharpen and fragments of memory slowly come back to her, she starts noticing unsettling details in Joon-seok's behaviour. His late night muttering from his locked study. Clinical phrases echo in her mind: subject, compliance, attachment and a terrifying question sticks to her brain.. Was she his wife or an experiment?
