As 13 year-old, Ashley Akins, enjoys her summer she comes upon an end and starts school. But, after only two months of seventh grade, she starts to notice the way people look at her, the way she looks at herself. As she bares through the year she tries to bare the pain that comes from the torture from those mean girls, surviving her insecurities, and trying to convince her friends that she hasn't done any of those rumors.
