The Gren

A Horror by Ronald Russell: The evil trio of Gren truly wish to be free when one day an unknowing security guard releases the lima bean looking creatures unleashing true evil into the world. When suddenly a group of college students on spring break need to learn how to survive the night!

The Gren starts out with a cold opening, a victim comes across something they shouldn't have and ends up dead, this is not a mystery so your introduced to the strange creatures that raise hell pretty much anytime they come into contact with someone. After the introduction it cuts to the main character, Sierra, and her support roles, Zane Ruby Clark and Daniel.

This is written in a deconstructed style I'm most comfortable with, so shorter paragraphs and dialogue is separated, the key thing to notice is that I always describe the immersions of my characters mental state or connect the character to a physical feeling before dialogue occurs this is my way of saying he said she said, which I try to avoid in a deconstructed verse even though I generally do use those cues, but since the dialogue is separated I felt a need to go with a subtler style then which I generally use, it has its perks and hasn't let me down yet.
