A slow burn romance between Rarity and Applejack from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.
Rarity has been extra busy lately with the opening of her boutique in Manehatten. with the constant traveling, she's exhausted, and needs someone to help her recover after her travels. Applejack, being Rarity's secrete admirer, offers Sweet Apple Acers as the perfect place for Rarity to rest up from her travels.
Upon her arrival, Rarity becomes part of the Apple family's daily routine, and begins enjoying herself. She also starts to notice her best friends..... interesting behavior towards her. She had never seen Applejack be so tender towards someone. Conflicted feelings bring her to be angry with herself, her thoughts, her feelings.
Will she be able to embrace this new part of herself?

While waiting for their series to begin filming and eventually be released, I wanted to imagine what their story might feel like - to give fans a small taste of the emotions, tension, and romance we might see on screen. This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across.
