You know that feeling when you feel like you want to kill yourself? Not out of sadness, but out of hatred? That's the feeling that I've felt my entire life. Everyday, when you look at the clock and you just see the seconds hand slowly move around the clock. When it'd just stop raining and you see the raindrops fall slowly off the wall. Sometimes when you're just sitting in class and you blur the whole world out and think. The life of every high schooler. Sometimes the world is just so terrible and annoying, you have no other idea than just to commit suicide.

When I was 10 and my sister was 13 mom and dad had separated, my father took me and my sister to Italy where my dad was from because his older brother, my uncle had passed so my father had to take over the family business. 2years later Abigail moved in with my mom in New Orleans while I stayed with my father because I was angry at my mother for leaving us and mad at her for not visiting me...or telling me why she had left. My mother is a wolf and my father was a wolf until there were hunters that attacked us my father thought the only way to protect my mother and sister was if he became a vampire So when they found out my mother was pregnant with me they were confused my father thought my mother was having an affair since vampires can't procreate so they went to a witch and she told my parents that I am my father's child. The witch had told them that I am a wolf but with vampire blood in my system so if I die I'll become a hybrid.

The werewolves, witches, and vampires were at war with each other, because of their views on life, how they eat, and what they do. (Witchcraft, Drinking blood, and their appearance after a transformation) And because of these conflicts the humans have to watch, die, or suffer. And the humans view this as the end of the world. Humans fear death, and have 0 options to avoid this problem in this time period. Would you want to become a vampire to live longer and experience the things that you haven't fulfilled in life? Or be a witch(animal)and get ridiculed by humans who don't except you for your religion or what you practice. You may even be drawn to werewolves and enjoy the feeling of freedom, but kill people after a transformation, and be the reason for a shortage of animals in a farm. Also, if you had the chance to kill an entire race of creatures that have opposing viewpoints would you do it? In this book you get to experience the view points of characters that are part of 1 or more group(s) of people.

Never in my life has my mom ever said something so horrible, so disgusting. Never in my sixteen years of living, have I heard something so awful and cruel. When Mom said those five words, I felt like my world was ending, and that my life was over. "You're going to high school." Now, I know what you're thinking. What's so bad about high school? Growing up in hell has been completely normal to me, being surrounded by demon's and evil soul's is nothing, they don't scare me. But the day mom told me I will be I would be going to high school, now that scared me. I have managed to put her off til I turned seventeen, that was a few month's ago and school starts next week. I have no idea how to blend into their world. Sure I visit from time to time when I was younger but not lately. I have spent my time here, studying and learning to fight. Going up there means dealing with people's opinions of me and what I am.
