Diluted Light || A Side Story to KNY

Miyabi Hasegawa is the renowned Pillar of Light in the Demon Slayer Corp. The House of Hasegawa, which has stood for decades, teaches those that are born into it to be disciplined. Miyabi must be refined and elegant, like the light she uses to befall her enemies; bright, unfeeling, and pure.

Naturally, not too many Hashira came to regard her as more than a coworker-she hardly spoke, and when she did, her tone of voice was nothing but frustratingly indifferent. They understand just what her childhood meant in regard to who she came to be, but only under textbook definitions. The horrors of the house ultimately remain sealed behind her and her family's lips, far from where the light shone.

And somehow, over the passage of time, the Pillar of Water manages to break through her defenses; one by one. Enough for her to learn about herself and what she truly wants, not what her house requires of her.
