When young Carol Jones is face to face with the death of her beloved father, she and her mother, Lizzy, are devastated. She needs to cope with only her mother around her, and she flashbacks on her her dad's death and special moments she had with him to hold on to the last bit of him she has.
Inhale. Exhale. Flashback. Repeat.
She'll work hard to sustain herself and her mother, give it her all. But with her dad gone, things are harder than it seems.
All of a sudden, Carol decides that she needs to leave home. Memories are hard to live with.
She wants proof that her father died because of a grenade. She needs to find out things.
