After years of protecting the Miracle Box and the balance of magic itself, Ladybug entrusts the future to an unexpected successor - Cipher, a sharp-minded, overthinking teenager suddenly burdened with guardianship of the Miraculous. With the box in his hands and a dozen curious kwamis watching his every move, Cipher must navigate ancient magic, impossible responsibility, and his own doubts as he transforms for the very first time into Cipherbug.

But a hero can't protect the world alone.

Cipher sends the mischievous kwami Plagg on a mission to locate the next Black Cat holder - a search that ends with Brendan, an ordinary teen who absolutely does not believe any of this is real. Between denial, panic, and reluctant courage, Brendan is pulled into a destiny he never asked for... and emerges as the unpredictable new hero Voidcat.

As Cipherbug and Voidcat finally meet, two strangers become partners in a battle neither of them fully understands yet. With the weight of australia, the kwamis, and the legacy of Miraculous heroes behind them, they must learn to trust each other, find their own style of heroism, and discover what it truly means to carry the mask.
