Zenryth Hail doesn't remember anything before he was bitten by a soul-ripper as a child. The darkness hasn't stopped following him since. That night changed him, but he could never reveal the true extent of it. Nobody knows about Murkai, a shadow that follows him, embodying his darkest and most violent desires.

When Reapers start to go missing, Zenryth Hail is sent to investigate in a team with three others -- each with their own dark pasts. But none of them expected this mission to become personal -- and highly dangerous.
