Regal has been looking for a place to stay for months. His only requirement is simple: the rent has to be cheap-because as a broke grad student, cheap is all he can afford. Every listing falls through. Prices are outrageous. Landlords stop replying. The clock keeps ticking. Just when it starts to feel hopeless, he stumbles across an unusual ad: Roommate needed. No rent required. The catch? He'll be responsible for cooking and cleaning for the other three residents of the house. Practically, he'd be a live-in helper. Under normal circumstances, Regal would have walked away. But desperation has a way of lowering standards. He takes the offer. After all-what's the worst that could happen?

"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it." - Harper Lee, To Kill a Mockingbird OR Trapped in a school that feels more like a prison, sixteen-year-old Benjamin Walker quickly learns that survival isn't just about following the rules-it's about knowing who to trust. Forced to share a dorm with three dangerous and unpredictable boys, Benjamin finds himself walking a thin line between fear and belonging. Max is sharp-edged and closed off, hiding more than he lets on. Asher is easygoing, but there's a weight behind his smile. And Foxface? He's a storm waiting to break-reckless, distant, and tangled in something Benjamin doesn't yet understand. As tensions rise and secrets unravel, bonds form in ways none of them expect. But in a place where loyalty is tested and escape is impossible, caring for someone can be just as dangerous as crossing the wrong person. And Benjamin is about to learn that the hardest part of surviving isn't the school-it's letting people in.
