Raon Wakura has always lived in the shadow of his powerful older sister.
He is the older brother of Yuuki Wakura, and the younger brother of Aoba Wakura-a domineering, sharp-tongued, and overwhelmingly strong older sister who raised both boys in her own brutal way. While their parents were frequently overseas on business trips, Aoba took it upon herself to ensure her brothers would become "useful and capable adults."
That meant mastering household chores, cooking, cleaning, repairs, and organization-skills Raon and Yuuki learned through constant drilling. When they failed, Aoba's punishments weren't scolding's, but sparring sessions that almost always ended in one-sided beatdowns. Over time, however, both brothers grew tougher, learning how to fight back with raw brawling, wrestling techniques, and stubborn endurance-often refined while roughhousing and playing video games together.
For their efforts, Aoba rewarded them with "video game points," hugs, and rare moments of praise, creating a strange but loving family dynamic. Even without their parents, the three siblings were never truly alone-they had each other.
That ordinary life ends abruptly when portals to the Demon World "Mato" are involved. . .
A former Commander who has a complicated past with Azur Lane that is full of nothing but pain and suffering is chosen to be their Commander again or is given a similar job by the UN (United Nations). But does he want to see his old subordinates and friends again is the real question at hand? As he kept his end of the promise but they did not as well as him caring about his job resulted in a early dismissal via a trip to the hospital turning this young Commander into an ice cold emotionless killer for the French Foreign Legion.
"Qu'est-ce qu'un meilleur travail, vous êtes un commandant pour Azur Lane ou une éponge à balles consomptible, vous demandez-vous peut-être ?" (What's a better job, you being a Commander for Azur Lane or being an expendable bullet sponge you may ask?)
"Nous me suivrons dans mon terrain de jeu et je vous montrerai ce qu'est un meilleur travail et le vrai sens de la guerre." (We'll follow me into my playground and I'll show you what's a better job and the true meaning of war.)
