If you asked Jack Abbot one year ago what he would have thought about having a child, he would've snorted and cursed you out. If he was being honest, he wasn't entirely sure what you were supposed to do with a kid. He could handle twelve-hour shifts, overcrowded waiting rooms, and patients hanging on by a thread. Children, though? Children were a different story. Which was ironic, considering there was currently an eight-year-old wandering around the hospital with his name.

The first time Cecilia walked into the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, she was a 4 year old with chemo curls, a gap-toothed smile and and a fever. The first time she walked into that ER, she was holding her older brother's hand. Now, she's in the ER more often than not. Her chemo curls have vanished, and so did her gap-toothed smile, replaced by a stoic expression. Now, her brother is dead, and the second he flat lined Cecilia's parents could no longer look her in the face. She was supposed to be a saviour sibling. Instead, she became the one who needed to be saved.

She makes the sunshine
Talia Robinavitch If you were to ask those who work at the Pitt to describe Talia, they would tell you she is pure sunshine and positivity. They would also tell you that you can't get a more caring and gentler nurse anywhere in the world. She is the 20-year-old daughter of the chief attending Michael Robinavitch or more commonly known as Doctor Robby. Not only is she known for her compassion and positivity she is also known for her naivety due to her only being a nurse for about 2 months. Because of this Dana Evans has made sure to take her under her wing and make sure her naivety that naturally comes with a new job at her age does not get her into any dangerous situations. More importantly a situation that may take her spark which is something the medical workers know all too well at the Pitt. Michael Robinavitch describes Talia as the miracle he never knew he needed. Surprisingly Robby is not Talia's Biological father. She was left in the hospital waiting room when she was only 1 month old. Robby who had only been working at the Pitt for five months chose to, at first, look after her for a temporary time until there would be a stable foster home for her. But after time and delays in finding her a home he slowly grew attached and she reminded him of himself when his own mother had left him when he was eight. After 2 months of looking after Little Talia he decided he himself would bring her up as his own and be the parental figure he always wanted growing up.
Code Pink
Elain Robinavitch-Abbot is the Princess in Pink. One of the best trauma nurses in the Pitt. Soft-spoken. Steady-handed. Loved by nearly everyone who matters. She is also married to Robby and Jack. Most of the ER already knows. Most of them also know better than to make it their business. After PittFest, peace became something everyone protected wherever they could find it. But when a nosy intern starts watching El too closely, asking too much, and turning care into suspicion, the calm the Pitt has been living in starts to crack. And Santos is about to learn that some things are private for a reason.
