Freshman year. College.
It's the year that everyone looks at. It's the year that restless, yearning high schoolers look forward to with hungry eyes. It's the year that stressed, overworked adults look back at with nostalgic eyes. It's always just a memory, or a dream...but never a reality.
Except when it actually does become a reality - your reality - and soon you find yourself overwhelmed by it all.
Summer Henson was one of those restless high schoolers. She dreamed of bigger things and brighter colors that were far, far away from the black and white routine of her hometown. However, when she finally makes it to college, finally busts her way out of her tedious routine and flies halfway across the world to London to attend a university, it is nothing like she expects.
What happened to the art, the culture, the love and soul that they romanticized in the movies and novels and shows? What happens if the only art and culture in college are alcohol and sex? And what happens if the love and soul comes in the form of a boy - well versed in this promiscuous college culture - who lives right next door?
They say freshman year of college is the year you find yourself...but what if it's the year you lose yourself?
