Once you leaned toward the sun,
a small courage in green,
holding light as if it would last forever.

Petals loosened their promises,
colours thinning into memory,
the wind whispering your name too far.

You bowed without applause,
no hands left to gather you,
no season brave enough to stay.

The soil closed over your silence,
roots forgetting the shape of your thirst,
and nothing bloomed where you were.

"Ah Xing..."
"You have no right to call me by that name anymore"
"Please... let me explain..."
"Explain? or more lies?"
"You know what? I regret knowing you."
"Do you hate me that much?"
"I wish you are gone from my life!"
