Mia Eleanor Ashford-Hale was many things. A homecoming queen, a cheerleader, and popular. However, she was never a mean girl, despite many of her friends falling under said label. She was also not rich, but no one knew.
No one expected a such a popular girl to develop an interest in theatrics, which was why she kept it hidden for two years. If her friends found out, Mia knew she would most likely lose them. What did that say about her friends, though? She didn't want to think about it. They were nice people.
An unexpected appearance at her acting camp over the summer leads to a new friendship, new feelings, and the possibility of a new future.

This story is a fan interpretation inspired by the upcoming GL series Pls Love starring Lena and Miu. While waiting for their series to begin filming and eventually be released, I wanted to imagine what their story might feel like - to give fans a small taste of the emotions, tension, and romance we might see on screen. This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series.
