I ran not because I was afraid I'd get bitten- that had already happened, I ran as fast as I could into the horde of Walkers because Daryl was reloading his crossbow. If I didn't give the Undead something to chase after they would definitely go after him and if they managed to catch him it was game over.

Evelyn Mela has only known two things; the inside of the CDC and how to survive. When the CDC gives her a life outside of their protective walls she is forced to experience the world on her own or at least she was supposed to until her next door neighbors, the Dixon brother's, decided to intervene. But just as Eve is starting to appreciate the freedom she been given the world ends.
***The Walking dead spin - off. Still a natural story though so you don't need to know the show to know the story because I will introduce characters as if they were new, as well as parts of their story line which I will add onto. I do not own the characters or plot of The Walking Dead or the comic book series, only my characters and story I've built around theirs.
Rated PG-13 for language, violence, gore, and adult situations.

Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
