If the consequences of war was an underwater city, would you question what everyone believed? One seemingly unremarkable girl did. All they had told her and taught her to believe, was it all really true? A fear unknown and unimaginable to others may be the only way to survival, although it may also be an illogical burden to carry. Will she survive the horrors of her own mind, or will they be the protection to her life?

This is a futuristic dystopian short story, hope you enjoy.
