Till The Day That I Die

✦ ──────────── ✦
Love. Love at first sight.
✦ ──────────── ✦

Sanji was fifteen when everything changed.
Not with a promise-
but with a weight in his arms,
and five little fingers wrapped around his.

That was the moment he knew.

He would love her
til the day-
til the day that he died.

✦

He never meant to become a father.
But he stayed through sleepless nights, quiet fevers,
messy meals and trembling apologies that never should've been learned.

He learned to take care of her
before he learned how to take care of himself.

✦

One day, the world will see
the beautiful woman she becomes.
They will see her strength, her laugh, her fire.

But Sanji will always see
his little girl-
the one who fit against his chest,
the one who changed his life without asking.
