The kingdom of Noriem is divided. There are magical creatures who live in The Great Forest that humans dare not disturb. The kingdom has lived in peace as both sides coexist individually but what happens when Tristan, a curious but dedicated squire who's determined on his path to knighthood, meets Lyra, a faerie who simply wishes to find her purpose. The two become the most unlikely of friends as they learn about eachother's worlds but does their curiousity get the better of them? Is it their differences that will be their downfall? *** "Who are you?" He heard a small voice say from somewhere behind the willow tree. Despite looking around he couldn't find the source of the voice that sounded strangely elegant to his ears. "I'm Tristan. Sir Ruben's, one of the King's Knight's, squire." Tristan replied gently, not wanting to be too loud in fear he'd scare away a reply. "The King? You know the King?" The voice sounded surprised. "Not really but I live in the castle and I know he's a good man and ruler. Who are you? Can I see you?" "Erm..." the lady's once elegant voice shook a little as she became unsure of her reply. Tristan continued. "I promise I mean no harm, I've just never met a faerie is all. I just wish to see you." At that he heard a small sigh before the tiny woman he had seen earlier flew back in to view, hovering now just a couple meters away from him. Tristan now moved his body so he was fully sat up facing towards the forest, his legs crisscrossed in front of him. The action caused the faerie to fly back a bit before Tristan put his hands up to calm her worries. "I won't come near you, there's no need to fear." His voice was gentle and unlike his usual nonchalant tone. He didn't want to take any risks, how many people got the chance to talk to an actual faerie straight at the forest edge? The faerie giggled a bit, taking Tristan by surprise. "Who said anything about fearing you Tristan?" She said with a mischievous grin on her face.Todos os Direitos Reservados
