Finally, the bruises started. The first time Oscar saw one of them on Lando's body was at the coffee shop where Lando works sometimes, to make himself some money when his DJs gig don't make enough. His friend was handing a cup of cappuccino to a client when his sleeve slided off a little, revealing some purple colored skin.
"Lando ?" Oscar asked with a tight voice when the client left, "What's that on your arm ?"
