For your entire life, you grew up next to the Celebrini's on one side, and your best friend Addy's family on the other in North Vancouver. All of your parents were best friends from before you were born. From that, the "Core Four" started, with you, your twin Miles, Macklin, and Addy. Growing up, Miles and Macklin played hockey together before Miles switched to soccer, and Macklin's older brother (Aiden) was best friends with your older brother (Max). But, in 2020, Max gets into a fatal car crash while in college.

Now, four years later, you are finishing your first year at being roommates with Addy at Stanford University, while Miles plays on the Stanford men's soccer team. Mack's NHL draft is coming up shortly where he gets drafted to the one and only San Jose Sharks.
