Love Is Left Handed

An 19 year old Greek boy Petros raised in the Greek countryside by two old fashioned and extremely homophobic parents manages to achieve his dream to get into the University of Architecture in Athens and moves there with his best friend Anna. Things don't always go as planned and he is left alone with no one by his side. All until he meets a boy on Grindr from Italy, his name Alejandro and he is studying in Greece for the next two years. His first relationship or as anyone would call it a situation-ship. It lasted about two and a half months, until all of a sudden Alejandro vanishes a few days before Christmas, leaving behind a note and no explanation. Pete is once again devastated and in a depressing state, he wants to end it all, he thinks that this is his punishment for being gay. Until all of a sudden a phone call changes EVERYTHING! Pete was the chosen student from Greece to compete in an Architectural design contest in Columbia University in New York. The concept was simple five countries in the EU were chosen to pick one student from their Universities of Architecture to send to NY to complete their studies and each one with different teams to compete in the design of the new Town Hall of NY. Pete gets excited, his life finally a meaning now. So the days before Christmas he goes back home to tell his family the great news. Once he enters his old house he finds out that his father, Pantelis has suffered a stroke and is now disabled and relays fully on his wife, Pete's mum Amalia. The situation in the house is terrible and before Pete could announce his news he is hit by his mums request. Amalia told him leave his studies in Athens, come back home and help her take care of his father. Pete has had enough tho. His whole life was trapped under his parents homophobic beliefs and now that it's his time to leave his life the want to take it away from him. Pete leaves Greece shortly after and goes to NY. There he meets a man who will change his life forever...
