Jaz Rioz is twenty years old and 5'7 tall. She is a girl, but many people think she is a boy because of how she looks and acts. She has a boyish style and a calm, sharp attitude. Jaz wears loose T-shirts, pants, shorts, and old sneakers anything that feels comfortable. She doesn't care about fashion or trends. Her short wolf-cut hair makes people confused about her gender, and her face often looks calm, bored, or uninterested. Jaz is an aloof person. She doesn't give a fuck about what people say or think about her. She likes being alone and talks only when she needs to. She avoids emotions and doesn't get attached to people easily. Jaz is smart, observant, and nonchalant. She stays calm in most situations, which makes her seem cold to others. Loud noise annoys her, drama makes her tired, and most people don't interest her. She believes she can handle everything by herself and most of the time, she can. Then Mira appears. Mira is the complete opposite of Jaz. She is annoying, bubbly, sweet, loud, and talks a lot. She laughs easily and brings chaos everywhere she pgoes. Mira suddenly enters Jaz's quiet life, breaking her routine and invading her personal space. Jaz thinks she can handle Mira. She tells herself that Mira is just another person she can ignore later. But something feels wrong. Every time Mira smiles, talks too much, or stands close to her, Jaz feels strange. Her chest feels tight, and her heart feels warm in a way she doesn't understand. For someone who doesn't care about people, her heart reacts too fast. Jaz doesn't know why this is happening, and she doesn't like it. She thought she could handle Mira like everything else. So why is her heart is in trouble?

Valeria didn't rush. She never did. Inez was pinned beneath her, wrist locked overhead, the hold precise and impersonal. Not pain. Control. Inez scoffed anyway. "That's it?" she sneered. "I've had tutors scarier than you." Valeria said nothing. The silence pressed in. "You don't scare me," Inez added, louder. Brattier. "You just-" "Enough." One word. Flat. Final. Valeria lifted Inez's chin with two fingers, detached as a correction. "Look at me," she said coolly. "If you're going to embarrass yourself, do it properly." Inez laughed, brittle. "You think this makes you powerful?" "I don't think," Valeria replied. "I decide." Her gaze never wavered. "You provoke because it's the last control you have." "I don't belong to you," Inez snapped. Valeria leaned in, voice razor-thin. "You are my wife. You belong to consequences." She released her grip. "Say it." "No." Valeria waited. The quiet broke Inez, she hated being ignored. "...I'll behave, I'll be a good girl" Inez muttered. "Specify." Inez swallowed hard. "...I'll be your good girl" Valeria stepped back, already distant. "Good," she said. "Remember why." #1 older women-13th February (FAST PACE BOOK)
