Not Just Alex

With her short hair, height, and unconcerned personality, Alexandria Caddel had gotten used to being called a guy. She stopped correcting people and learned how just smile and nod. Besides she had her best friend, Margo, that was, until she didn't.

Abandoned and angry, Alexandria decided to simply spend the rest of her high school days isolated and under the radar. But her plans were ruined when new neighbors moved into the empty house next door. What started as unwanted company, ended up being a refreshing breath of fresh air to a lonely Alexandria.

But there was one problem.

She'd lied, and now her only friend thought she was someone else entirely. Instead of Alexandria, she'd become Alex. Stuck with guilt about lying and fear of being rejected for who she is, Alexandria tries to carry the messy routine that's become her life.
