The Insight: A Backrooms Story

Almost a month after her brother Oliver goes missing, Vivian is called back to the police station for more questioning.

During her walk there, a painful ringing fills her ears, and the world around her begins to fade away. In that moment, she falls through the fabric of reality.

Soon, Vivian awakens in an endless reality called the Backrooms.

Through exploration, cryptic documents, and hostile monsters, Vivian discovers secrets about Oliver's disappearance. Now, her goal isn't to escape this alternate reality, but to find her brother. However, in a place designed to break the human mind, her determination may become her own downfall.

This original story is heavily inspired by a mix of different Backroom's lore, but some concepts are added or changed to fit the storyline and add to the plot!! Please keep in mind that this is my personal version of the Backrooms and is NOT following one specific lore version (for example, Kane's version, original 4chan, or video game lore), although ideas from all these versions are incorporated throughout the story! I love comments and DMs, so please let me know your thoughts, questions, etc!!
