Scarlett Ann-Elise, a teenaged girl with mental instabilities, was abandoned by her parents at an old and forgotten castle as an infant. To forget her loneliness, grief, and never-ending sorrow and pain, Scarlett pretends she lives in her own fantasy land with her "father" being the King and her "mother" being the Queen- all imaginary. One day when Scarlett was in the woods fetching food, she met her long-lost grandmother- or so she thought- who was actually a witch. As her relationship grew with her "grandmother", her self-created fantasy land crumbles right in front of her eyes.
Also, it's sort of difficult to summarize this story. I don't want to give away the whole plot, so I'm going to let you guys find out what happens ;)

What happens when one of the last freakshows comes to your town? Not only is it a grotesque event viewed for pleasure at a circus but one that harbors secrets and hidden evils behind the curtains. Scarlett didn't know what to think when she heard about the circus coming to her town; her town was small, rarely anything visited it. And most importantly Will she survive? _____________________________________________ In this gruesome horror story the events take place in modern day West Virginia which is where you will meet Maria Nichole Grey: a young and lonely fifteen year old girl that is still grieving the death of her father who died in a car accident seven years ago, leaving her with her aloof mother who was almost never home to witness the strange and dangerous happenings that keep Maria in constant danger. Maria wasn't sure why or how the entity haunted her; she never played with a ouija bound and she never chanted Bloody Mary in her bathroom but on this particular day, when she was home alone, a huge terrifying Monster pounced on her from her closet and attacked her in her own room, the Monster itself was a huge, horrifying, sinister entity with startling glowing yellow eyes that seemed to stare into her soul. The Monster seems to only be interested in Maria and targets her specifically, She has no clue as to why it's haunting her, no, hunting her, but she's determined to find out and put a stop to it before it can send the grim reaper her way. Her boyfriend begins acting up, the murders are messier and more obvious and she has a complicated relationship with her best friend's brother who, as it turns out, is the only person she can truly trust anymore. As the dead bodies pile up, Scarlett is thrust deeper and deeper into the complicated past, and her chances of making it out alive are slowly diminishing. The generations of mystery and heartbreak of the Red Hiding Hood name led to questions and unbeliefs. Especially in this story. The story that you haven't heard. This time, the forest is filled with nightmares and a PACK of wolves. Even imagination friends who aren't even that good. The deadly forest is known to make people go insane. Especially the Red Riding Hood bloodline. But the main character needs to know what happened. She needs to bring the medicines that her grandmother had mailed to her to bring. The grandmother lives at the OTHER side of the forest. But how did she get there? And who exactly IS the grandmother of this tale? The wolf? Or something that had to be dead, but in the end...
