He was done living his life for people that never really cared for him or even cherished him since everyone just abandoned him. He did not want to burden those that actually cared for him since the rumours were also harming them, especially his sister who has a massive future in technology and Artificial Intelligence. He believed that associating with her, would harm her in the long run. It would be nothing short of a burden. However, fate had other plans. He survived the suicide and became more intelligent. Jaune's transcripts are revealed early after Cardin hears him tell Pyrrha about them, with this Jaune decides to distance himself from his team so they don't get ridiculed. This however leaves him alone with only verbal support by his team and friends, and he is forced to live outside the dorms for a bit. For a few months Jaune makes himself a home in the Forest of Beacon and due to some political nonsense he has to send his weapon back home, he has to use spare weapons from the armory at the school and learn how to use them. In no time he gets better and through training he catches up to his friends, but thats not all fate has in store for him as he would become more than just a man, he would become the 'Dark Knight' of Remnant.
