Life has been rough for Izuku Midoriya. His childhood was, well, definitely something. When his mother had had enough of the bullying Izuku was undergoing, she decided to move the two of them away from his small hometown right before his first year of high school. Despite his anxious exterior, he managed to make new friends and survive high school. When move-in day for college rolls around, Izuku is radiating excitement; a new place means new beginnings and opportunities. After dropping his things in his room and saying his goodbyes to his mother, he returns to his dorm, anxious and excited to meet the boy he would be living with. As he approaches the door, he can hear loud music coming from the space on the other side. Before he could think too hard on it, he turns his key and opens the door. Any excitement he had promptly fell away like a landslide as he sees a head of blonde spiky hair. 'No fucking way...'
