It's been 2000 years since the last age of dragons and all that remains is an abandoned canyon and a clutch of dormant, desiccated eggs. In the years since the dragons left, history has been rewritten, dragons have been relegated to myth, and the powerful female dragon wards are long since forgotten.
A princess marked for assassination on her wedding night, an abandoned and street savvy orphan, a perfectly bred and created "mate", and an ancient crone all struggle to find their place in a rapidly and irrevocably changing sociopolitical landscape.
Danger surrounds them on all sides as war looms between four nations, and across the sea, a dark and twisted dragon lord plots and waits. These four women must overcome their own limitations and those placed on them to courageously bring about a new age of dragons.

I was only gone for 3 months over the summer, why did you stop talking to me, why did you pretend that I didn't exist? Why did we have to stop being friends? sincerely - andrew -- There is a lot of parts, I know. But each part is so short you don't even have to scroll or swipe once for most of the parts. Seriously, this is a super short story despite the parts number. Promise. ^_^ - I'd just like to preface that I made this story in the format that it's in pre 10 million ads Wattpad. It kind of sucks that the parts are so short and you have to sit through so many ads in between. That is assuming more people don't have premium than those that do.
