Troy Aston had his whole life figured out. He was going to marry his high school sweetheart and give his son a sibling. He was going to continue to play the game he loved. He was going to have a picture-perfect life.

And it would have been perfect.

If not for Derek Emery.

Derek Emery is well-known across the whole NFL, NBA, and NHL world. He owned the most successful sports company in the nation. His entire company was dedicated to creating the finest gear for athletes. And, trust me, Derek was just focused on his amazing company.

But Derek isn't as innocent as he seems. Visiting ONYX every other night wasn't what people wanted to know about him. It would ruin how everyone viewed his innocent, pretty face. So, he kept it a secret, which meant his hookups would keep it a secret.
Troy would keep it a secret, not for Derek's sake, but for his own. Troy would be ruined.

I groan as I wake up. My head was pounding, and I felt nauseous; symptoms of what some would call a nasty hangover, but I didn't drink. I hadn't drunk in over a year. I don't even bother to open my eyes, knowing that any bright light would make it ten times worse. I roll over, and that's when I realize something's off. The smell that filled my nostrils wasn't my sandalwood cologne but something a little more... vanilla-y. I shrug it off and reach my arm to pull Maddie, my girlfriend, towards me.
My arm lands on her body, and I try to pull her over. "Maddie," I mumble. Her body didn't budge, and that's when I realized her body felt firmer than usual. A deep chuckle comes from the body I have my arm around, and my eyes shoot open.
