Caia Richards had the seemingly perfect life: rich parents, only child, huge house, popular, pretty. That was all they saw though .They didn't see how her father ignores her, or how her mother treats her with disdain, and insults her every chance she gets. People think they know her, but they really don't. They don't know that she wishes she could be normal, average, and they especially don't know that she loves to sing. No one has ever heard her sing, and she plans to keep it that way.

This all changes when her parents drop a bomb on her: they're moving across the country, to Virginia. She begs to stay, but they're resolute.

So they move. Caia is the new student. When she gets to the new school, she comes to realize that the hottest and most popular guys in school are in fact, in a band. This just so happens to be in Caia's favor. This said band just lost their lead singer, and are now holding auditions for the spot. Caia auditions on a dare, and surprisingly, and begrudgingly, gets it.

This is perfect, since it's Caia's chance to shine, right? Wrong. She has to deal with her ever growing feelings for Asher, the lead guitarist, his preppy, cheer squad captain girlfriend Brooke, her relentless mother, and the stress of living up to the expectation this band has, not to mention that the guys don't even want her there. Will she be able to do it, or will she fall under the pressure?

Seems like a wonderful life, right? Most good things come with at least one catch, though: He's blind. Following a move from Washington to New York, Zach struggles to fit in with everyone else. Little did he know that high school across the country would be extremely different than back home. He would endure new town, new home, new friends, but also new hardships. Will Zach find a way to fit in with his new surroundings? Then, there's Kelsey Davis, one of the popular girls of the school. She's beautiful, charming, and, of course, she can be a bit questionable. Luckily, there's almost always a side to people that nobody sees. Hanging out with the wrong crowd has gotten to Kelsey's nerves, but she doesn't want to leave her friends. Having such a reputation with the entire school has extremely high standards, and she can't meet them anymore. Will everything change when she notices a unique boy among the crowds who might need a friend? *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Disclaimer: This is the very first book that I ever wrote. It was created in the Fall of 2018 by a 15-year-old girl who had no idea how to construct and develop a story. It's still a very precious story to my heart and I will always keep it published here. :) Word Count: ~70,000-75,000

He's the schools player/ bad boy. He's cocky, carefree and hot. He's tough and fearless... until Elena came along. She became his weakness in a matter of days. "I wanna punch you in the face" I squinted my eyes. Just then an apple snacked him right in the head. Lauren and I curled our lips in so we wouldn't laugh "my point p-proven" I bursted out into laughter He squinted his eyes and stood up "Who threw it!" All eyes were on him. I exchanged looks with Lauren before we gave him our attention again "Caleb please get down" I laughed He shook his head "No Lena" he looked at the jock table and jumped off the table stomping their way "who did it?" Lauren and I jumped out of out seats and ran to him "Caleb stop. They're gonna beat your ass" I made slight eye contact with Reece, his grey eyes stared into my soul and he gave me a blank expression. I looked at Caleb "Go now!" I pointed back to our table "Lena I got a fucking apple to the head" he frowned "I ain't leaving until I find out who it was" "I did it" Dylan smirked "but it was aimed for Kayne"
