Theodore Decker, only 13 at the time of his mother's untimely demise. A demise that shook him to his core, unravelling every fiber of his being, every spindle that made up who he was. A demise that was his fault.
In the thick of his seemingly never-ending, all-encompassing grief, he meets a peculiar boy with a noticeable accent and a similarly troubled upbringing who makes him /feel/.

This is a kinda, sorta rewrite of the boys' time in Vegas. I have watched the movie and read the book. I was disappointed that the movie failed to show us more of Theo and Boris' intimate relationship, and the kiss felt so out-of-left-field, so I am here to fill in that gap. Some of the details will be canon, while others will be my own imagination.
