Lost Hope || a Percy Jackson OC fanfiction

(Takes place post ToA but is a different set of characters so will include very little to no major spoilers (except for Jason iykyk))

What happens when a human is raised among demigods? She's different than humans, yet she isn't quite like the demigods. What happens when a young girl is raised next to glory and fame, yet those are still treasures that seem out of reach for her?

Growing up, Leila Azar's memories are vague, she just remembers bitter cold, starvation, fear. Ever since she can remember, she has been fighting for her life alongside her brother, beating up hideous monsters. Then she remembers finding solace at a place called Camp Half Blood. She watched enthusiastically as her brother got claimed, all the more excited to get claimed herself. But time passed, and it was pretty clear that Leila is one thing: very much and utterly a human.

How will she navigate the world? What will she do when her brother gets sent on a deadly quest? How can she prove that she is just as capable as the other demigods? What happens when an extremely infuriating, goody-two-shoes, and -annoyingly cute- daughter of Nemisis makes it her mission to be a complete pain in the butt to Leila?

I hope to try and bring in characters that are generally missing in other fics, like Grover, Juniper, Frazel, Thalia, Reyna, Stoll brothers, etc. I will obviously have Percy and Annabeth, but only very little. They deserve a break, don't they?

I am 100% open to comments and suggestions because I only have a very little idea of where I want this story to go, so I will take all ideas and suggestions to heart. Also many authors hate this, but I do love grammatical tips or pointing out errors if you so ardently desire.
