The Black Lake

our friends Arjun, Vikram, Kabir, and Rohan who plan a three-day adventure into a remote jungle, eager to explore a mysterious lake despite eerie warnings. As they prepare for their trip, an unsettling waiter at a restaurant warns them not to go, claiming that no one who visits the lake returns the same. Kabir, already uneasy, grows more hesitant, but the others dismiss the warnings as superstition.

Before they leave, Arjun's fiancée, Ananya, expresses her concerns, revealing she has had disturbing dreams about the trip. Though worried, she ultimately lets him go. The group sets off, stopping at a local market, where another cryptic warning comes from an old woman: "The lake never lets go."

As they drive toward the jungle, the atmosphere grows heavier. A blood moon and an impending solar eclipse cast an ominous glow over the land. Strange occurrences such as a silent radio and unnatural stillness set an eerie tone as they reach the jungle's edge. Despite the foreboding signs, Arjun insists they continue. As they step into the dense forest, they fail to notice a fresh set of footprints that vanish into nothing.

Their journey into darkness has begun.
