When she feared for the worst and all was lost, she met Rivera Douglas, which was her doctor at Newtons Hospital, where her parents decided that it should be her permanent one, seeing how they liked what they saw and everyone was just good there, and the atmosphere wasn't all that dull, it was always lively, despite it being a hospital at all. Rivera Douglas is a 30 years old women, who has been divorced for 3 years now. She wasn't in a rush to get into any kind of relationship and was basically in a relationship with her job, so to speak. She loves what she does and helps her patients take their mind off of the darker things, especially Ava. She would always make Ava feel some type of way without her knowing it and it always made Ava feel like she wasn't even sick at all, which is why Ava had a secret crush on her, hating the fact that it won't last that long...
